A look at of some of the reviews left by our fabulous guests:

Bryan & Helen (Trepigge): “Thank you for the most lovely week at Trepigge. It’s a lovely house, beautifully appointed in a very peaceful location. This is a wonderful area of Cornwall with so many places to explore! Thank you for the delicious brownies and Champagne!! June 2026

Jonathan & Claire (Trepigge): “What a week! Despite some pretty dreadful weather, we explored the beautiful Lizard, it was one of the last places in Cornwall we hadn’t visited and it didn’t disappoint. Long walks, quick swims, pasties, fresh fish - it truly has been a wonderful week away. Trepigge is one of the best places we have stayed, everything you could need (and more) is here. It’s definitely a home away from home. A big thank you to Alison, a fabulous host. As many people say, we will be back, and look forward to exploring in the sunshine!” June 2026

Lucy & Andrew (Trepigge): “Trepigge is a gem! A very comfortable and enjoyable stay in another stylish place (our first visit to Tremayne was at THE apple Loft which was equally tasteful). Wonderful views, peaceful surroundings - we will be back. Thank you for the delicious brownies and wine - you really are a ‘super host’ Alison. Great to see you again.” May 2026

Susan (Trepigge): “Thank you for letting me share your beautiful piece of Cornwall. Trepigge was a welcome retreat, and the rest was much needed. I am returning home refreshed and rejuvenated. It was great to meet so many new faces - and to visit old faces too. Jon’s brownies were delicious, and the champagne a much appreciated thought. I will be back!” May 2026

Thank you!” May 2025

Haulcin family (Tremayne Farmhouse): “What an amazing ‘home from home’ holiday. Tasteful yet oh so comfortable farmhouse. We loved it! …& the brownies! We were informed in The Shipwrights who the chef was! The legend lives on! The spring sunshine just made it a perfect retreat. We all feel so chilled…just the job! See you again!” March 2025

Jenni (Tremayne Farmhouse): “What a really lovely place to get together with the family - we’ve had great fun! Thank you so much - we shall recommend Tremayne to all friends and family.” January 2025

Sam (Tremayne Farmhouse): “Thank you both so much for allowing us to bring in the New Year at your beautiful home. Our stay was perfect - including the rain; it made hunkering down by the fire with a good bottle all the warmer! You have done a wonderful job with the restoration and it was great to learn some of the history. Thanks again, and see you in the summer!” January 2025

Juliette (Tremayne Farmhouse): “What a scorcher! We’ve had another wonderful holiday - visited new places and revisited old favourites. Walked around Lizard Point, Mullion Cove and Church Cove. Ate at the Ferryboat, Shipwrights, Gear Farm, amongst many other places. We also had a fabulous day at St Michael's Mount. Thank you again, Alison and Jon, for your superb hosting.” September 2024

John (Tremayne Farmhouse): “Thank you for another wonderful summer at Tremayne. This has been our fourth year here and we have loved it again - we are looking forward to next year’s return already. This year we enjoyed sailing and a boat trip on the Helford, swimming at Trevassack Lake, the beach at Poldhu (and live music on a Friday evening too) and wonderful food at Flora and the Ferryboat Inn. Thanks very much as ever to Alison, Jon, Rocky and Belle!” August 2024

Rosemary (Tremayne Farmhouse): “We have had a fantastic week and would like to thank you for all the extras that have made our stay so comfortable. The extra large table that you provided for the dining room has meant that we have all been able to eat together and so was appreciated. We have really enjoyed the opportunity to be down here together and your amazing property has fitted all 15 of us in with ease. Thank you so much for your flexibility. A true holiday to remember .” August 2024

Alison (Tremayne Farmhouse): “Thank you for a wonderful stay. Fantastic weather in the second week - we saw Cornwall at its best. Even though the first week the weather was mixed it was a wonderful house to chill out in on rainy days. The house catered for everything and the brownies were out of this world! We will take such fond memories of our stay here (as will Milo, our golden retriever who had the best holiday ever!)” August 2024

Andrew (Tremayne Farmhouse): “Thank you for a wonderful week - we all had a marvellous time - the Farmhouse is absolutely perfect for a large (noisy) family group - great location with easy access to stunning beaches - we all hope to be back soon!” July 2024

Liz (Tremayne End): We had a lovely, relaxing week at Tremayne End, so peaceful, all we could hear were the birds singing. Beautiful accommodation, nicely decorated and very clean and well equipped. The bed was just so comfortable and we both slept like logs! Alison and John were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble, and the bottle of bubbly and delicious brownies were very much appreciated, have never tasted any as good as that! All in all we had a memorable, pleasant stay and would definitely recommend to stay there. Thank you Alison and John for being great hosts!”

Bartley (Tremayne Farmhouse): “A truly wonderful stay in your beautiful farmhouse – you have gone above and beyond in your efforts to provide a tastefully decorated, warm and well-equipped holiday accommodation – we have never stayed in such a well-equipped holiday home with such high-standard finishings before. It has truly been so peaceful here and we have managed to enjoy the simple things – on the beach, in the garden, wonderful walks, and boat trips. We hope to be back.”  July 2024

Suzie (Tremayne End): “We were absolutely delighted to stay in this beautifully appointed appartment which has superb views over the Cornish countryside. Being able to walk round the extensive gardens and to admire them from both the sitting room and bedroom was a joy; there is a palpable air of tranquliity and natural beauty. Tremayne End is superbly equipped and arranged with impeccable style and sophistication: clearly much thought has gone in to furnishing it to the very highest standard. We have no hesitation in recommending Tremayne End as a place to relax and to enjoy all that Cornwall - and the Lizard Peninsula in particular - has to offer.”

Dilip (Tremayne End): “The location boasts stunning natural surroundings, with a well-equipped space that’s impeccably clean. Alison’s hosting was outstanding, going above and beyond to make out experience memorable.”

Helen (Apple Loft): “What a slice of paradise. Great place to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We would recommend to anyone looking to get away from the rat race.”

Steve (Tremayne End): “The apartment was outstanding. Beautifully decorated, very clean and in a beautiful unspoilt part of Cornwall. A great place to get away from it all or for exploring the lizard peninsular. There is a lovely balcony to sit out on, especially great for enjoying a morning coffee overlooking the garden. There are great beaches nearby, water sports and lovely places to eat and drink. Alison made us feel very welcome, with useful tips and advice of places to eat and explore. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing break and great facilities if you want to stay in. There was a lovely touch left for us on arrival. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back again.”

Andy (Apple Loft): “Our stay at The Apple Loft was an absolute joy from start to finish. We booked very late notice (the day before) and Alison couldn't have made it any easier for us - helpful, accommodating, friendly and kind. The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful. Alison clearly has an eye for design as the whole place just oozes charm, quality and style in an effortless and quiet way. The attention to detail is everywhere and it makes the Apple Loft a real pleasure to spend time at. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and everything you'd expect from this corner of Cornwall. We were only disappointed that we could only stay for 3 nights and will definitely be back for a longer visit in the near future. Thank you to Alison for such a lovely stay - just what we needed.”

Elizabeth (Tremayne End): We stayed for one week, and hated to leave. Our apartment was both immaculately clean, and was furnished with everything we needed. We woke up every morning from a comfortable bed that looked out over the most beautiful garden. The living room and deck also had a gorgeous view. Alison was so friendly and accommodating to our every need. We were greeted and had waiting for us on our dining table flowers from her garden, a chilled bottle of the most amazing champagne, homemade brownies to die for, and delicious homemade jelly and milk in the refrigerator all to start us out. We felt pampered and we so appreciated the hospitality which we learned from meeting Alison, was just simply her nature.”

John & Teddy (Apple Loft): “An amazing place! The Apple Loft is perfect for time away, to relax and enjoy real luxury. Every detail in the cottage has been carefully considered - probably the most comfortable bed I have ever enjoyed. We have had a wonderful time. The location of the beaches, fishing villages and coastal walks provides access to stunning scenery, great local food and evening sunsets”

Jan (Tremayne End): “We had the most amazing 3 night stay at Tremayne End. The property was spotlessly clean and we had everything we could possibly need (and more). We opted not to use the car but to explore the beautiful surroundings on foot. The walk to Helford via Frenchman’s Creek is stunning -as are the pasties from Gear Farm just down the road! Thank you Alison for such a wonderful break. Your house and gardens are simply stunning.”

Diane (Tremayne Farmhouse): “So, we have now returned home and wanted to write an express our thanks your your wonderful hospitality. You have now set the bar for all our future holiday bookings. We thought Tremayne Farmhouse was a literal home from home. You have really thought through what guests will want or need and the house was spotless and so comfortable.”

Anita & Ian (Trepigge): “It has been so lovely here at Trepigge. The cottage is solid and cosy and it is so quiet. We have been provided with everything here for a really gorgeous holiday - thank you! Except perhaps an extra week or two of course :)”

Jonathan (Tremayne End): “We stayed at Tremayne End for 3 nights in June 2022. Alison provided an in depth guide to the local amenities, tourist attractions and walks before our stay. Check in was straight forward and communication with Alison throughout was seamless. Tremayne End was perfect for my wife and I. It provided and ideal base to discover West Cornwall with trips to Penzance (including St Michaels and Mousehole), St Ives and the Minack Theatre. Tremayne End had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and had small additional touches like wine and homemade chocolate brownies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to rebook there for future trips to Cornwall.”

Fergus C (Tremayne End): “An absolutely beautiful flat in a superb location. We weren't sure quite what to expect, but as we drove up the winding country lane and were suddenly presented with the beautiful white house the flat is attached to, we really felt as if we were staying in a part of Cornish heritage. The flat has a perfect blend of the traditional and the modern: cosy, stylish and has everything you could possibly need including a lovely balcony with a stunning view over the meadows and front garden…. We are an LGBTQ+ couple and never encountered any problems on our holiday. We would definitely stay at Tremayne again - thanks so much to Alison and her family for having us!”

Andy (Tremayne Farmhouse): “I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that our entire group thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we wanted to thank both you and John for all your help before and during our time at the Tremayne Farmhouse. You could not have done any more to make us feel more welcome or made our stay any more enjoyable and we all wanted you to know just how much we had enjoyed our stay.”

Ali & John (Trepigge): “We had a wonderful time in Trepigge! What a beautiful cottage and such a pretty outlook… It has been really delightful here; can’t fault anything. Thank you for a fantastic stay!”

Meghan (Tremayne End):Absolutely loved our stay! Thank you so much for being so welcoming. The tips you gave in the info pack were super helpful and greatly appreciated (including the pasties- best pasties we’ve ever had!). Couldn’t have asked for a better time away. Thank you for your messages and quick replies, they really made us feel welcome! Couldn’t give you any advice on how to improve as we thought it was perfect the way it was!”

Caroline (Tremayne Farmhouse): “Thank you Alison for making our holiday so memorable. Nothing appeared too much trouble and you certainly made us feel very welcome throughout. The farmhouse just exceeded all our expectations and has without doubt set the bar for our next family vacation. Not only was the location perfect and steeped in history but every room was beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard which all just added to our fabulous family holiday. We look forward to another visit in the future and will highly recommend Tremayne Farmhouse to our friends and family”
